Giclée print, Two Tulips
Giclée print, Two Tulips
Tulips are my favourite flower. I love the graphic shapes of the petals, the vibrant colours and the all-round-Dutchness of them. When I visit Shambles Market in York in the spring when the tulips are gathered, i’m immediately transported to the Netherlands countryside of flat field of red and yellow and windmills as far as the eye can see. But they haven’t always been so Dutch, they actually have a fascinating wider spread history.
