Giclée print, Under The Sea
Under The Sea
I have been so inspired by Greek mythology and the Sirens are one of my favourite. Not only for my love of the sea but the story of beautiful women are dangerous. In the original versions Siren's were birds with women's faces and a song so beautiful it would kill any sailor who heard it.
Under the sea is a reference to the Little Mermaid, originally by Hans Christian Andersen's. Sirens became the more familiar mermaids during the medieval period.
